Hi, I’m Jaidee

Whilst many of our dogs are dumped at our gates or rescued from the streets by our very own team, occasionally dogs are brought to us by dog-loving locals who have their best interests at heart: like Jaidee.

Jaidee was rescued from a busy construction site where several other dogs had recently been knocked down and killed by the influx of traffic around the site. Her rescuers brought her to The Farm in the nick of time, before Jaidee became the next victim.

Ready to adopt Jaidee?

Jaidee is an excitable young dog who loves nothing more than a good cuddle. This affectionate girl also loves to play with both people and other dogs, and has enough energy to keep the play going all day!

Jaidee has also a cheeky side, and has proven to be quite the skilled escape artist! Finding her atop her own kennel might make us laugh here on The Farm, but this is something that adopters will need to be aware of.

But it’s not all fun and games: after a long day of being a cheeky, playful girl, Jaidee will quite happily settle down for a cuddle and a snooze.

An area where Jaidee struggles is her territorial behaviour, especially with other female dogs. We’re confident that with time and proper training, Jaidee will overcome her anxieties around female dogs, but adopters should be prepared to support her with patience and compassion.

Jaidee’s perfect home?

As a young dog with lots of energy, Jaidee will need an active family who can provide all the exercise and mental stimulation she deserves, not to mention plenty of cuddles!

Given her anxieties around other females, Jaidee would prefer to be the only dog in the house where she can totally revel in being the centre of attention! It’s likely that a home in a rural or semi-rural area would give Jaidee a head start on overcoming territorial tendencies.

Am I your perfect match?

So you’ve read the details, you’ve fallen in love, and now you’d like to adopt? We don’t blame you…you’re only human after all!

The first step in the adoption process is to complete an adoption form. This will give us all the information we need to make a match and see if the dog that’s caught your eye is the right fit for you.

Are you ready?
