I was found alone but had already attempted to befriend an older street dog who could show me the ropes. Unfortunately they got the wrong end of the stick and didn’t want to be my friend…I ended up within this dog’s jaw and sustained a nasty injury.

I’ve been living on The Farm since October 2022 when I was just 2 months old.
I’m really friendly and mischievous but unfortunately that got me in a sticky situation when I was on the streets!
I was found alone, not a mum or sibling in sight. I attempted to befriend an older street dog who could show me the ropes but unfortunately they got the wrong end of the stick and didn’t want to be my friend…I ended up within this dog’s jaw and sustained a nasty injury.
Thankfully, the Jai Dog Rescue team were alerted to my plea for help and came as quickly as they could. I was bundled into a cardboard box with blankets and we sped back to “The Farm”. When we arrived at the vet clinic, I wasn’t able to bear weight on my hind legs and I had extreme swelling around my belly and legs. So, off we went to the specialised vet clinic for x-rays, too.
The Jai team were worried about me but I was just happy to have someone care for me for the first time – they are so kind! After further assessment the vets told us that I hadn’t sustained long-term or severe injury: lots of rest, good food and plenty of treats and the swelling should soon subside – phew!

I’m doing better these days and receiving innovative acupuncture treatment from the Jai veterinary clinic.

Why I need sponsoring
After my injury, I’m still a little wobbly on my legs and I may never walk like a “normal” dog again.
Thanks to the Jai Team, I’m receiving regular medical care and acupuncture therapy to help me regain my muscle strength but, if I don’t and I never find a home, I know i’ll always have a home on The Farm to play with all the other dogs – and boy I love playing!!
I hope one day I’ll find a home of my own but until then, the Jai Team will look after me.
What your sponsorship will fund
Your sponsorship helps fund medication for me and the other puppies in need on The Farm, to make sure we can live a healthy and happy life here. I’m receiving acupuncture treatment, which is making me much more comfortable and allowing me to run, jump and play like all puppies should!
Due to the staggering number of unsterilised dogs in Thailand, there are always more puppies in need around the corner and our “Puppy of the Moment” will be regularly changed in line with new rescue pup cases that arrive at our clinic.
