Painting a brighter future for dogs in need
กุมภาพันธ์ 2, 2022
Our pets mean so much to us: a Pennie’s Portrait celebrates that unique bond, all whilst giving back to a dog in need.
That’s why we’re so incredibly grateful to Pennie and her talents, for supporting Thailand’s street dogs with her work:
- For you: A stunning commission of your pet (or pets!)
- For us: 15% of your spend donated to Jai Dogs in need
The passion behind the portrait
Pennie’s passion for pets is a lifelong one, having painted her first ever pet portrait aged just 12. Perfecting her style over the years and receiving commissions from the likes of Strictly Come Dancing’s Karen Hauer, author Tessa Dahl and even members of the Royal Family, we’re incredible honoured that Pennie has chosen to support our work on the ground in Thailand, with her work here in the UK!
Pets have long been considered “muses” for artwork (we hear Picasso’s dachshund, Lump, was the love of his life!!) but the rise of the commissioned pet portraits has made it easier than ever to immortalise your beloved family member and celebrate their unique character and individuality.
Giving back
There’s no one we trust more to transform our pets into timeless works of art, than Pennie’s Pet Portraits. Working in pastels, both soft and oil, acrylic or watercolour, you’ll be positively spoilt for choice when it comes to commissioning your own artwork.
The best news of all? Pennie is generously donated 15% of each commission to Jai Dog Rescue, so that we can continue to care for and feed our residents here on The Farm.
