Jessie is a sweet-natured dog who needs a little time to get to know you: but once she does, you’re in for cuddles galore!

Jessie's story
Jessie, and her sister Janet, came to live at The Farm after another rescuer in the South of Thailand could no longer look after them. They arrived in 2019 and wasted no time in settling in! With their golden locks and affectionate characters, they’ve become firm favourites with the team – after all, you can always rely on Jessie and Janet for a cuddle at the end of a long day!

Ready to adopt Jessie?
When it comes to meeting new people, Jessie is the more reserved of the two sisters, preferring to really get to know someone first. But with calm and gentle introductions, you’ll be besties in no time – and that’s when Jessie’s affectionate, cuddly side comes out!
Like her sister, Jessie has grown fond of the space available on The Farm and takes full advantage of it to run, play and explore, as she is a very active young dog. She has been collar and lead trained, so will be ready for walks just as soon as she’s settled in and has been properly introduced to her new family.
Jessie's perfect home
Jessie is a playful, friendly dog so we’re confident that she could live with another dog in the home. She would also be quite happy as the only dog where she can make the most of having your full attention! Jessie could also live with sensible, dog-savvy children.
Giving Jessie enough exercise and mental stimulation will be essential, to prevent her from being bored and unhappy, so access to outdoor space and exciting walks will be essential.
Adopters should be aware that Jessie has a high prey drive and that even with consistent, effective training it may still be a while before Jessie can be walked off-lead.
