Daisy’s Story
Just before Christmas, an eight-week-old puppy was found alone on the street, terrified and in severe pain from being burned by hot water. We named her Daisy.
When she arrived, her skin was raw and inflamed. Well-meaning locals had tried to help using a spray called Cyclo, but it isn’t suitable for puppies and caused further damage.
Our team rushed Daisy into our care. She received daily wound treatment, medication, and pain relief, and we have been by her side ever since.
As her skin slowly heals, other challenges have emerged:
- One of Daisy’s ears has become fused to her body. Once her skin is fully healed, she will need surgery to safely detach it and prevent long-term pain.
- Malnutrition has left her front legs bowed, so she will need careful support as she continues to grow and recover.
Her journey isn’t over yet – but she is safe, loved, and receiving expert care.
